Meet Debra
Debra Grunewald has been a lifelong animal lover! In 2017 when she semi-retired, she created her own business, Going to the Dogs, dedicated to caring for furry companions!

Going to the Dogs is all about helping to enrich the canine-owner bond and providing peace of mind through loving care, passion, and respect.
​
Debra and her partner, Steve, have a German short-haired pointer named Kershaw. Kershaw was rescued at age 4 and is now 10 years-old.
​
Before her doggy adventures, Debra was in the Air Force for o 20 years. After the Air Force, she held various jobs including government contracting, workforce development, and electronic technology. She started veterinary technician school and then transitioned into doggy care. She was also a volunteer with the Washington County Humane Society, Hartford Lions and Nicolet College Learning in retirement program.

Going to the Dogs serves a radius of 20 miles around Rhinelander, WI and Hartford, WI. Debra splits her time between the two locations.
